Chanel Launches Chanel No.19 Poudre Eau de Parfum

On Friday, Chanel relaunched its No.19 perfume to celebrate what would have been Coco Chanel’s 128th birthday. “I wanted to underline the importance of iris at Chanel, while giving a new facet to No.19,” revealed house perfumer Jacques Polge. “The desire to rework the original accord with other, more contemporary, powdery notes, came naturally to me.” Named by and for Coco Chanel herself, No.19 might not be the most iconic fragrance from the French fashion house, but it may well be the most personal.
