If you’re already a fan of BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), we’ve got some exciting news designed to make it easier for you to connect with your entire mobile social network. BlackBerry plans to make BBM, our wildly popular mobile messaging service, available for the first time to iOS® and Android™ users this summer, (subject to approval by Google Play and the Apple App Store, as applicable).

In the first version of multi-platform BBM, iOS and Android users are expected to be able to experience the following BBM features:

• The immediacy of BBM chats.
• Multi-person chats.
• Voice note sharing.
• BlackBerry Groups, where BBM users are able to set up groups of up to 30 people and share calendar, photos, files and more.

In a recent press release at BlackBerry Live 2013, Andrew Bocking, Executive Vice President, Software Product Management and Ecosystem, at BlackBerry had this to say:

“For BlackBerry, messaging and collaboration are inseparable from the mobile experience, and the time is definitely right for BBM to become a multi-platform mobile service. BBM has always been one of the most engaging services for BlackBerry customers, enabling them to easily connect while maintaining a valued level of personal privacy. We’re excited to offer iOS and Android users the possibility to join the BBM community.”

Netflix has released the trailer for the fourth season of “Arrested Development”. The series aired for three seasons on the Fox network, from 2003 to 2006, with 15 new episodes planned for release on Netflix at midnight on May 26th. The show stars Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, David Cross, Portia de Rossi, Tony Hale, Alia Shawkat, Jeffrey Tambor, and Jessica Walter.

Fumio Osano, the Sailor Moon manga’s Kodansha editor who is known by his nickname “Osabu,” confirmed in response to a question on his Twitter account that the new Sailor Moonanime has been delayed. The anime was previouslyannounced as debuting this summer. Osabu has not yet given further details, but a more formal announcement is expected soon. When asked if the anime would broadcast in winter 2014, he responded, “Not 2014. Perhaps.”

The idol group Momoiro Clover Z, publisher Kodansha and Sailor Moon manga creator Naoko Takeuchi announced the new anime adaptation of the manga last July. Momoiro Clover Z announced that they would perform a theme song for the new anime at France’s Anime Expo, while a special event on the same day commemorated the 20th anniversary of Naoko Takeuchi ’s Sailor Moon manga at Tokyo’s nicofarre hall.

This summer marks the big screen return of DC Comics’ Superman in Man of Steel, directed by Zack Snyder and produced by Christopher Nolan of the Batman franchise. Promising a brand new vision of the iconic superhero, the film stars Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel complete with an incredible redesigned costume that updates the traditional red, blue, and yellow. Kotobukiya is proud to present an all-new ARTFX statue to tie in with the upcoming blockbuster, Man of Steel’s Superman.
