Dinner for Schmucks is a remake of the French comedy “Le dîner de Cons”. It’s a movie thats starts funny, and stays funny. It’s nearly impossible not to laugh when Steve Carell is playing an awkward character.
The film is about a group of colleagues who host a monthly dinner during which they compete to see who can bring the biggest idiot to the meal.
Salt is a smart, fast, breathless blast of a spy flick that emulates the Bourne films in all the right ways, so perfectly paced and quite well-made, but left open-ended for potential sequels rather than being concerned about telling a complete story.
Both movies are worth to watch.
